چکیده
Abstract Background Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic disease which mainly attributed to autoantibodies, cytokines, and immune complex deposition. Studies have demonstrated that cytokines autoantibodies were strongly associated with renal diseases can be used for the prediction of patients nephritis (LN). However, antibodies dsDNA reduction complements also detected in non-LN as well clinically non-active SLE patients. The current study was performed detect role serum DKK-1 biomarker identification LN its relation activity severity. conducted on fifty diagnosed who according Lupus International Collaborating Clinics (SLICC) classification criteria SLE, addition thirty healthy control volunteers matched age sex. Assessment done using Erythematosus Disease Activity Index (SLEDAI). severity Collaborative Clinics/American College Rheumatology (SLICC/ACR) damage index. Serum levels measured all participants by ELISA commercially available kits. Results significantly higher among active cases compared no controls (9197.60 μg/uL ± 2939.2 vs. 6405.15 2018.91 2790.33 833.49 μg/uL) respectively ( p -values < 0.001). concentration positive negative anti-double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) -value According receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, level at statistically significant 98% sensitivity 70% specificity 90% 63% specificity. Conclusion could diagnose high reliable key molecule diagnosis prognostic indicator LN.

Dickkopf-1 Is a Biomarker for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and Active Lupus Nephritis
An early diagnosis of lupus nephritis (LN) has an important clinical implication in guiding treatments of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in clinical settings. In this study, the concentrations of Wnt-3A, Frizzled-8 (FZD-8), and Dickkopf-1 (DKK-1) of Wnt signaling, as well as their diagnostic values for accessing LN, were evaluated by ELISA in sera and urine of 111 SLE patients (31 with LN a...

Background: Brucellosis is a zoonotic infection which is endemic in many countries. It is a multisystem disease which may present with a broad spectrum of clinical manifestations and complications. Neurobrucellosis is an uncommon complication of brucellosis. Case presentation: A 25-year-old woman with a history of lupus for 5 months referred to the emergency ward of Shahid Beheshti Hosp...
متن کاملUrine Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-1(UMCP-1) as a Biomarker of Renal Involvement in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Objective(s)Lupus nephritis (LN) is frequently associated with a poor long-term prognosis. Renal biopsy is the diagnostic method of choice in this condition. Urine biomarkers have been mentioned in the diagnosis of LN. The study,s purpose was to evaluate the performance of urinary monocyte chemoattractant protein 1(UMCP-1) as a biomarker of renal involvement in systemic lupus erythematosus.Mate...
متن کاملCXCL13 as a new biomarker of systemic lupus erythematosus and lupus nephritis - from bench to bedside?
Different studies over the last decade have linked the B cell-attracting chemokine CXC ligand 13 (CXCL13) to the autoimmune disease systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). A pathogenetic role of this chemokine for disease manifestation in SLE was described initially in mouse models for SLE. Mechanisms of CXCL13 actions were also identified in SLE patients. Moreover, various clinical studies have id...
متن کاملSerum alpha–actinin antibody status in systemic lupus erythematosus and its potential in the diagnosis of lupus nephritis
Background: In lupus nephritis (LN), deposition of pathogenic autoantibodies in the glomeruli is mediated via cross-reactivity with alpha-actinin. Association of serum alpha-actinin antibody (AαA) with LN has been shown in a few studies but the results are controversial. Methods: Eighty patients into entered the study. The diagnosis of SLE was confirmed according to the American College of Rheu...
